Urban Recovery is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to lead their team to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality detoxification and recovery care for individuals overcoming substance use disorders.

Leadership with Impact:

True clinical ownership where you mentor staff, shape care plans, and directly influence patient recovery journeys.

Team Leadership:

Supervise shift staff, assign tasks based on competencies, manage daily scheduling, and lead performance evaluations and assist in onboarding.

Clinical Excellence:

Monitor medical detoxification protocols, assess patient withdrawal symptoms, manage medication administration, and handle controlled substance counts.

Collaborate:

Participate in treatment planning, daily morning/discharge meetings, and coordinate with providers, admissions and operations teams.

Crisis Management:

Utilize advanced prevention and de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm every third weekend

Requirements Credentials:

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license and current BLS/CPR/AED certification.

Specialized

Experience:

At least two (2) years of hands-on nursing experience specifically within substance abuse or addiction treatment.

Core

Skills:

Strong interpersonal communication, proven leadership ability, and sharp problem-solving skills under pressure.
