About This Role
The Clinical Nurse Manager for the Emergency Department at New York-Presbyterian Hospital is responsible for coordinating clinical care, managing staffing needs, and fostering a collaborative environment. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are passionate about team-building and delivering high-quality, family-centered services.
Highlights- Pay: $145,000 - $168,000/year
- Location: New York, NY
- Facility: New York-Presbyterian / Allen Hospital
- Department/Unit: Emergency Department
- Schedule: Full-Time, Night shift
- Coordinate all aspects of clinical care in the Emergency Department.
- Assist with unit administration and manage staffing needs.
- Counsel staff RNs regularly, providing clinical education and follow-up.
- Foster collaboration and independent thinking among team members.
- Lead and round with the night staff.
- Mentor and coach staff, implementing performance and quality improvement.
- Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience within the Emergency Department preferred
- Licenses &
Certifications:- Current New York State registration to practice nursing
- Demonstrated leadership competencies
- Previous clinical expertise within the Emergency Department
