Job Summary
The Nursing Supervisor oversees clinical operations during assigned shifts, ensuring high-quality patient care, staff coordination, and compliance with healthcare standards. This role provides leadership, supports nursing staff, and serves as a key point of contact for clinical and operational issues.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and support nursing staff across units during assigned shifts
- Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in compliance with policies and regulations
- Manage staffing assignments, patient flow, and resource allocation
- Act as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and leadership
Respond to clinical emergencies and provide guidance in critical situations - Monitor documentation, compliance, and quality standards
- Address patient, family, and staff concern professionally
- Support onboarding, training, and performance improvement initiatives
- Active RN NY license (required)
- 3-5+ years of clinical nursing experience, with leadership experience preferred
- BLS, ACLS
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
