About This Role
Join New York-Presbyterian Hospital's Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) as a Per Diem Nurse, where you will be a patient advocate and provide critical care following complex surgeries. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a compassionate culture and are committed to excellence in patient care.
Highlights- Pay: $88.15/hour
- Location: New York, NY
- Facility: New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center
- Schedule: Per Diem, Rotating
- Provide pain management and clinical assessment for post-operative patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to share vital information.
- Advocate for patients and their families within clinical teams.
- Lead recoveries following complex and rarely seen surgeries.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Previous experience in PACU or critical care in an acute care setting preferred
- New York State Registered Nurse License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS from American Heart Association required
