Senior Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Hybrid NYC
A well-established community behavioral health organization is looking to hire a Senior Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
Midtown Manhattan / NYC
NYS license + DEA required
This is a great opportunity for a psychiatric NP who wants to remain primarily focused on patient care while also taking on a senior clinical support role
.
- Provide psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, medication management, and treatment planning
- Support evidence-based psychiatric practices across community behavioral health programs
- Provide clinical consultation and support to other psychiatric providers
- Help orient and support new NPs during their first several months
- Precept and support NP students and new graduate psychiatric providers
- Assist with escalation pathways, case consultations, refill coverage, and clinical support
- Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative leadership
- Strong psychiatric clinical experience
- Comfortable supporting newer providers and students
