About This Role
The Clinical Nurse I - RN in the Neuroscience ICU provides expert evidence-based care to patients with severe brain injuries, strokes, or tumors. This part-time night shift position is ideal for compassionate nurses looking to thrive in a fast-paced, family-oriented environment.
Highlights- Pay: $129,681 - $141,006/year
- Location: New York, NY
- Facility: New York-Presbyterian
- Department/Unit: Neuroscience ICU
- Schedule: Part-Time, Night shift
- Assist with delicate procedures such as inserting central lines and pulmonary artery catheters.
- Support physicians with bedside procedures, including inserting drains in patients' skulls to reduce pressure.
- Deliver expert evidence-based care to patients in the Neuroscience ICU.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in shared clinical decision-making and flexible scheduling.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
- 2+ years of acute care experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Current New York State RN license
- BCLS certification required
