The Registered Nurse Ambulatory Oncology at NYU Langone Hospital
- Brooklyn is responsible for nursing care and outcomes for a group of patients, collaborating with the health team to provide comprehensive care.

• Pay: $125,281 - $155,281/year

• Perform other duties aligned with the mission and values of the organization.

• Document patient assessment, reassessment, and progress toward goal achievement accurately and timely.
• Promote patient safety and quality, adhering to National Patient Safety Goals.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with healthcare team members, escalating situations appropriately.
• Establish effective caring relationships with staff, patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
• Administer medication and parenteral therapy in accordance with policy, including blood administration.
• Establish priorities for patient care delivery and coordinate patient care responsibilities.
• Provide patient/family education and assist in discharge planning.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide nursing care based on patient criteria.

Education:

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program

Experience:

• One year Med Surg experience preferred

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Registered Nurse License - NYS
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
• Chemo/Biotherapy certification required within one year
• OCN certification preferred
• Amb/Onc Infusion experience preferred
• BAM Infusion experience preferred
