About This Role
The Staff Nurse in the Adult Emergency Department at New York-Presbyterian provides critical care during high-pressure situations, assessing conditions and coordinating multidisciplinary care. This role is ideal for experienced RNs who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Highlights- Pay: $133,595 - $153,220/year
- Location: New York, NY
- Facility: New York-Presbyterian Hospital
- Schedule: Full-Time, Night shift
- Assess patient conditions and arrange multidisciplinary care.
- Collaborate with paramedics, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Utilize advanced techniques such as induced hypothermia and digital radiology.
- Provide care in a designated 911 receiving hospital with Level I Trauma Centers.
- Organize teams to address emergency situations effectively.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
- At least 1 year of previous nursing experience required
- Strong Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
Certifications:
- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
- BCLS, ACLS, PALS certification required
- Certifications in TNCC, CEN, ENPC, TPEN preferred
