Nursing Assistant – Long Term Care

Schedule:

Must submit fingerprint forms within 48 hours of signing. Weekend coverage every other weekend. Patient ratios: 1:10 for days, weekends, and nights.

Assignment Details:
Float required. 23 beds in the unit. Local candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. No first-time travelers accepted.

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience required
• BLS certification required
• Skills in long-term care, patient hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic nursing care are essential

Responsibilities:

• Assist with ambulation, feeding, and personal hygiene
• Change linens and provide complete bed baths
• Monitor and record vital signs and fluid intake/output
• Implement pressure injury prevention strategies
• Ensure patient comfort and safety through proper turning and repositioning
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
