Job Summary: The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. This role involves delivering patient care through the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care, utilizing the nursing process, evidence-based practices, and approved organizational standards. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, educates patients and caregivers, and ensures quality and safety in patient care.

Additionally, the RN contributes to professional development, operational efficiency, and patient experience improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State, in good standing
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• 2 years of critical care/telemetry experience
• EPIC experience highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience or active matriculation in a BSN program
• 1 year of travel nursing experience (required for travel positions, not for per diem)

• Average unit census: 8
• 8 beds per unit
• Staffing guidelines: 1:2

  3x12 shifts, every other weekend, variable shifts
