The Assistant Nurse Manager

- Pay: $159,000 - $159,000/year
- Location: New York, NY
- Facility: NYU Langone Hospitals
- Department/Unit: Endoscopy
- Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift

- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to ensure excellence in quality, patient experience, and efficiency.
- Develop positive and productive relationships across disciplines to achieve shared goals.
- Facilitate and support positive work and care environments founded in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Demonstrate commitment to engaging and recognizing staff.
- Collaborate with the nurse manager on interviews and ensure appropriate selection and onboarding of employees.
- Evaluate the performance and assess practice of designated personnel fairly.
- Serve as a role model and resource for staff, promoting professional growth and development.
- Monitor staff attendance and ensure appropriate staffing for optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide direct patient care as needed to support clinical operations.
Education
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required
- 2 years of experience required
- Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in New York State
- Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
- Clinical certification in the patient population served or nurse leader certification preferred
