Description:
The position involves providing nursing care to patients in a Cancer Center.
Candidates must have experience in chemotherapy infusion.
IV insertion and phlebotomy skills are required.
Candidates should possess an active Client RN license.
Certification in AHA BLS is necessary.
The position requires the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Strong communication skills are essential for patient interactions.
Candidates must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
Experience in patient education regarding chemotherapy treatments is a plus.
This role will involve precepting new staff within the cancer center.
Adherence to safety and infection control protocols is mandatory.
Continual assessment and documentation of patient progress is expected.
Participation in team meetings and collaborative care is required.
