This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour Night shifts required, with every other weekend commitment.

The Registered Nurse will work in a Detox unit, caring for patients aged 18 and over in need of detoxification from substance use disorders. The role requires assessing detox symptoms and providing medical support to patients with various co-morbidities.

• Assess and monitor detox symptoms in patients.
• Collaborate with Patient Care Technicians for patient care.
• Perform phlebotomy and EKGs as necessary.
• Conduct frequent safety checks and rounding every 15 minutes.
• Provide support for activities of daily living (ADLs).

• Current RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• PALS certification is preferred for floating assignments.
• De-escalation training certification from an approved program (e.g., Handle with Care, TRUST Training, CPI).
• Previous Med Surg experience is required.
• Phlebotomy skills and experience are essential.
