The Supervisor of Nurses in Nursing Administration at NYC Health and Hospitals is responsible for directing the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing regimens for patients across multiple units. This role is ideal for experienced nursing professionals looking to lead and enhance patient care.

- Department/Unit: NURSING ADMINISTRATION
- Schedule: Full-Time, Night (11pm-7:30am), alternating weekends
- Direct the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing regimens for patients.
- Schedule, assign, guide, and instruct nursing personnel in nursing activities.
- Identify and discriminate between physical and psycho-social signs and symptoms.
- Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate nursing regimens for assigned patients.
- Record and maintain nursing care plans and progress notes.
- Interpret and report patient responses to health team members.
- Participate in planning comprehensive patient care programs with interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide teaching, guidance, and direction to allied nursing personnel.
- Maintain and interpret standards of nursing practice.
- Participate in departmental and interdisciplinary conferences regarding nursing policies.
- Experience:
Experience as a Supervisor of Nurses preferred.
- Annual education differential based on degree:
- Bachelors in allied health discipline = $900
- Masters in allied health discipline = $1,200
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) = $1,800
- Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) = $2,000
- Doctorate in Education, Nursing Practice or PhD in Nursing (DNP) = $2,500
- Annual certification differential ranging from $1,878 up to $4,878 for recognized certifications.
- Annual nursing experience differential ranging from $1,097 up to $9,100 for up to 10 years of experience.
