Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Clifton Springs, NY | Acute Care

Contract | Nights/Mids Rotation – 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00 / 11:00–23:00) | Every Other Weekend

• Provide direct patient care in an 11-bed medical Emergency Department, including triage, assessment, and treatment
• Staff a Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) unit within the ED, including an evaluation space and an Extended Observation space, in coordination with PCT and behavioral health team members
• Perform and interpret labs and EKGs as needed for patients within the CPEP space
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 and adhere to unit staffing protocols, including rotating 6- or 12-hour blocks within the CPEP space depending on shift
• Float within the facility as required
• Document all patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records (required)

• Active New York State RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room RN experience
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Experience working in a psychiatric emergency or behavioral health setting
• Familiarity with CPEP workflows and medically cleared psychiatric patient populations
• Experience floating across units or departments
