American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with an active NY license and Epic experience for a night shift assignment requiring floating and every-other-weekend coverage.

• Work in the Medical/Surgical ICU setting, including burns and thermoregulation cases
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-07:00)
• Patient ratio of 2-3
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required
• Epic EMR experience required

• Active NY RN license required in hand
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Charge nurse experience highly preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency with IV therapy, arterial line management, central and PICC line care, and blood product administration required
• Experience with continuous IV sedation, paralytics, and vasoactive drip titration required
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and 12-lead EKG acquisition
• Experience with IV insulin protocols and procedural sedation monitoring required

• Provide critical care nursing to medical and surgical ICU patients, including burn and thermoregulation cases
• Must reside within a 75-mile radius of the facility
• First-time travel nurses may be considered
• Returning staff must wait 6 months system-wide before reapplying
• Candidates with more than 10 days of requested time off will not be considered
