About This Role
The Clinical Nurse Manager in Inpatient Psychiatry at New York-Presbyterian is responsible for leading patient care delivery on an assigned unit, ensuring efficient operations, and promoting a culture of safety and quality. This role is ideal for experienced nursing leaders looking to advance their careers in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Highlights- Pay: $145,000 - $168,000/year
- Location: New York, NY
- Facility: New York-Presbyterian/Allen Hospital
- Schedule: Full-Time, Evening shift (2pm to 12am, 4 days a week)
- Manage the delivery of patient care on an assigned unit.
- Facilitate efficient daily operations related to patient throughput.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality by implementing established standards.
- Collaborate with the Patient Care Director to establish unit goals.
- Monitor staff compliance with regulatory and hospital requirements.
Education:
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing required
- Master in Nursing preferred
Experience:
- 2 years of clinical nursing experience required
- Previous leadership experience as charge nurse or supervisor preferred
- Previous psychiatric experience preferred
Licenses &
Certifications:
- NYS RN license required
- BCLS certification required
