This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Shift hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, 5 days a week with every other weekend included.
Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team in a nursing facility setting. The ideal candidate will provide care to patients, monitor vital signs, and assist in daily living activities while ensuring a high standard of care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and perform treatments as directed by a registered nurse.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Assist with patient personal care, including bathing, feeding, and mobility support.
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting using EPIC.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active New York State LPN license (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
- Experience in Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) preferred.
- EPIC charting system experience is a hard requirement.
