Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Urgent Care – Brooklyn, NY

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Requirements & Qualifications

  • Active New York NP or PA license
  • Preferred 2+ years of clinical experience
  • Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, family medicine, primary care, pediatrics, or internal medicine
  • Comfortable treating both adult and pediatric patients
  • Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a clinical team

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat adult and pediatric patients with acute conditions such as respiratory illnesses, infections, rashes, and gastrointestinal issues
  • Conduct appropriate examinations and develop treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications within scope of practice
  • Perform telehealth visits as needed
  • Identify patients requiring referrals or higher levels of care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure quality care
