Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America)
- Patient Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their mental health status and diagnose psychiatric conditions. - Treatment Planning:
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include psychotherapy, medication management, and referrals to other healthcare professionals. - Medication Management:
Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, ensuring effective treatment while managing side effects and interactions. - Therapeutic Communication:
Utilize strong communication skills to build therapeutic relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. - Education and Advocacy:
Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies, while advocating for their needs within the healthcare system. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in mental health care. - Certification/Licensure: NYS Professional Registered Nurse license required. NYS Nurse Practitioner Certification required.
- Education requirements:
MSN required at a minimum. - Computer/Equipment skills:
Knowledge of electronic Medical Records Systems required. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
Shift:
- Days Salary Range: $150,000 - $165,000
