Essential Functions:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients undergoing radiologic procedures, including reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations, and requesting additional diagnostic tests when necessary.
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care.
- Educate patients and their families about radiologic procedures, expected outcomes, and post-procedure care, fostering a supportive and informative environment.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, document all findings and updating electronic health records accurately and promptly.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and treatment protocols.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance radiology services and improve patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards of practice.
Qualifications:
- Current NYS RN and NP or PA license required.
- DEA and BLS/ACLS certification required.
- Previous experience in Radiology preferred.
- CCTA experience is a plus not required.
