Hudson Highlands Veterinary Medical Group is hiring a full-time Veterinarian to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to a variety of animals, including cats, dogs, and pocket pets.

• A schedule that respects your time
  . You'll be scheduled for 8-10-hour shifts, working four days a week, including a Saturday rotation and 1-2 evenings each week. Each day will include 30-minute appointments, plus a daily break from 12pm to 2pm. Rotating on-call duties and holiday work are required!
• A 2.5:1 staff to doctor ratio
  .You will be supported by a highly skilled, collaborative team that values professional respect and allows you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
  
  The medical team includes a boarded surgeon, cardiology specialist, 6 general practice DVMs, and access to regional specialists, supported by a large, experienced LVT and support staff and overnight LVT coverage for hospitalized patients.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution
• Valid veterinary license in the state of New York

Hudson Highlands Veterinary Medical Group is a well-established, multi-location practice serving the Hudson Valley for over 50 years, with a 11,000 sq ft flagship hospital in Hopewell Junction that supports both specialty and general practice care. The hospital is fully equipped for advanced internal medicine case management, including a modern Versana Balance ultrasound (approximately 1 year old), endoscopy, ICU, radiology, spacious treatment areas, and separate patient wards.

The hospital also features electronic medical records, a dental suite, an underwater treadmill, dedicated general practice and specialty surgery suites, multiple doctor offices, and a large reception area.
