Veterinary Kennel Attendant

Nassau Veterinary Clinic, located in Nassau, NY, is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Kennel Attendant to support our AAHA-accredited six‑doctor practice. Our state‑of‑the‑art facility includes 6 exam rooms, a surgery suite, a spacious treatment area, modern X‑ray equipment, grooming and pet‑training rooms, and an outdoor exercise area. The role works with our team of over 20 members to deliver high‑quality, compassionate care to up to 50 pets daily.

• Ensure animals have fresh food and water at all times
• Clean animal waste, spilled food, hair, and other debris from kennels
• Play with and administer treatment to animals under the direction of the veterinarian or veterinary technician
• Accompany animals on walks, when required
• Report significant changes in animal functioning to the veterinarian and staff on duty
• Dispose of trash properly
• Work primarily during the morning shift, including some public holidays and weekends
