Annual Salary: $185,000 – $250,000 (DOE) + Bonuses + Ownership Opportunity

Referral Bonus: Up to $25,000 for internal referrals and up to $10,000 for external referrals.

Relocation assistance: Relocating MDVMs receive $20,000 or more toward stress‑free relocation assistance with our corporate relocation partner.

Animal Kind Veterinary Hospital is seeking a motivated, collaborative, and experienced Medical Director to lead our thriving, nine‑doctor companion animal practice in the heart of Park Slope, Brooklyn. • Guide and mentor veterinarians and technicians
• Develop and refine medical protocols
• Partner with the Practice Manager to drive hospital growth and efficiency

• Annual salary: $185,000–$250,000 (based on experience)

• 6 modern exam rooms

• Fully equipped treatment area, isolation ward, and in‑house lab
• In‑house ultrasound and echo
• Experienced well‑trained licensed technicians on staff, and the ability to manage complex cases
• Grooming services and boarded surgeon & cardiologist available by appointment
• Modern cloud‑based PIMS with integrated labs and imaging

• DVM (or equivalent) with an active New York State license
• 5+ years of veterinary experience
• Strong communicator and collaborative leader
• Passionate about mentorship, protocol development, and medical excellence
• Able to coach, delegate, and support a high‑performing team
• Organized, self‑motivated, and solutions‑oriented
