Lawn Maintenance Crew Member

Position Overview

• A Lawn Maintenance Crew Member must be able to correctly use all lawn equipment such as zero-turn commercial mowers, blowers, and trimmers, without damage to the customer's property, turf, or equipment.
• Cleaning equipment at the end of the day is required. Sharpening blades at the end of the week is also required.
• A Lawn Maintenance Crew Member position is typically under the direction of our Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader and completes a variety of tasks to achieve a functional and pleasant outdoor lawn areas.
• Candidate will care for lawns in residential as well as commercial properties.
• Candidate will know how to cut straight lawn lines, basket weaves or diamonds when needed.

• Zero turn mowing.
• Weed whacking.
• Use of a blower.
• Weeding.
• Trimming small hedges.
• Removing ivy (poison or not).
• Removing unwanted, dead or damaged trees.
• Creating lawn patterns.
• Monitoring and maintaining lawn health.

• A good Lawn Maintenance Crew Member is someone who uses their eye for design to create aesthetically-pleasing lawn for the customer.
• They have an innovative mindset that enables them to come up with creative solutions to geographical or structural barriers.
• They’re also physically fit, which allows them to operate heavy machinery and use tools to perform manual labor after a training period.
• A good Lawn Maintenance Crew Member values the input of their team members and enjoys working as part of a team to accomplish a common goal.

• Must have minimum 1 year experience with a valid record of work experience with references to be verified.
• Must speak English.
• Must have valid  social security card.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be over 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs daily.
• Must have a working cell phone for communication.
• The ability to follow instructions and report any issues to your Crew Leader.
• Take pride in the quality of your work.
• Honesty and attendance is crucial.
