Responsibilities:
- Mows lawns, trims hedges, rolls, reseeds and fertilizes lawns and cares for trees, shrubs and flowers.
- Removes snow and ice from sidewalks, driveways, etc.
- Operates a variety of grounds maintenance equipment.
- Participates in the maintenance of recreational area.
- Performs a variety of related grounds maintenance tasks.
- Participates in miscellaneous jobs inside buildings during the winter months, as required.
One year of satisfactory experience in grounds maintenance work.
New York State fingerprint clearance and Civil Service approval required. A valid Driver License issued by the State of New York. This is a full-time, 12- month position with hours of 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Salary as per MESPA contract.
