The Wildlife Conservation Society is offering an Aviculture Intern position at the Bronx Zoo for Fall 2026. The 12‑week internship provides hands-on experience in aviculture, animal care and record keeping under Ornithology staff, with opportunities to learn from senior keepers and contribute a final project.
Interns gain exposure to zoo operations, nutrition, and enrichment, and participate in daily husbandry, with a requirement to work 2–3 days per week including at least one weekend day.
