Veterinary Assistant The Village Animal Clinic Voorheesville, New York
** Job Summary**:
The Village Animal Clinic is looking for the newest part-time member of our assistant/reception team for our popular veterinary practice. Applicants should be experienced in delivering top-notch client service, should enjoy working with the public and their pets, and should be able to work effectively and supportively as a team member. Duties include holding a wide range of species for the doctors to examine and treat, answering the phones, and helping to keep our premises neat.
Experience with veterinary practice is preferred, but attitude, ability, and enthusiasm are our highest priorities. Enjoying a challenge, being able to multitask, and making clients feel important and warmly welcomed are essential personality traits.
We offer great career opportunities. Salary range starts at $19.00 hour for entry-level and up to $24.00 for experienced applicants. * Safely handle and restrain animals.
