Location: New York
South Street Seaport Museum seeks a Deckhand for the Pioneer and W.O. Decker to join a historic sailing program in New York. This temporary full-time role runs from late August through mid-November 2026, with duties aboard tall ships during evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities include assisting with sail operations, guest interaction, the educational mission, and public programs. Training sails, PPE and safety procedures, and interaction with volunteers are core elements.
