Brook Farm Veterinary Center is an independently owned, AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in Patterson, NY. We’re looking for an experienced or motivated Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team on either a full-time or part-time basis

As an LVT at Brook Farm, you’ll play an active role in patient care across the hospital. Depending on your experience and interests, responsibilities may include:

• Patient restraint and Fear Free handling
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Laboratory sample collection and processing
• Digital radiography
• Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Surgical and dental procedure support
• Dental radiographs
• Pharmacy and medication preparation
• Inpatient and outpatient nursing care
• Client education and communication
• Treatment implementation under veterinarian direction
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Helping doctors and fellow team members keep patient care running smoothly

Required:

• Current New York State veterinary technician license
  , or eligibility to obtain NY licensure
• Graduate of an accredited veterinary technology program
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliability and professionalism
