Location: New York
The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets is seeking an Assistant Horticultural Inspector 1 in Suffolk County for a part-time, temporary, seasonal role. You will conduct field surveys, collect samples, and help map plant locations to detect pests and plant diseases.
Minimum: 30 college credits; preferred: 30 credits in horticulture or related fields, and willingness to travel. A valid NY driver’s license is required to perform field duties.
