Our Veterinarians are responsible for ensuring that all of the dogs in Biscuits & Bath's care are receiving a well‑rounded program of wellness and preventative medical care.
We are focused on medical excellence, with a specific focus on preventive care and general wellness. In addition, we also offer surgical procedures (including spays / neuters), deep dental cleaning, and national / international certificates.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose their health issues
- Provide appropriate medical treatment for sick or injured animals.
- Advise pet owners on nutrition, preventive care, and general care practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with veterinary protocols.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine.

The following qualifications are required:
- DVM, VMD or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
- New York State veterinary license in good standing.
- Minimum of two‑years veterinarian experience or internship at emergency / specialty center.
- Genuine interest in the well‑being of dogs.
- Ability to juggle a variety of responsibilities, while balancing competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills.
- High degree of independent decision‑making and problem‑solving capability.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Must be physically fit to lift dogs 50lb +, kneel, stand for long periods of time and perform requirements of the job.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Word) and Internet savvy.
