Veterinary Practice Manager (Part‑time)The Bushwick veterinary center is hiring a Veterinary Practice Manager who wants to focus on their passion for helping animals. The Veterinary Practice Manager is critical to the success of BVC, ensuring a positive culture built on shared values and open communication, creating operational efficiencies, and problem‑solving to improve client service and team engagement.
Responsibilities- Team Leadership:
Oversee and lead the veterinary staff and receptionists. - Clinic Operations:
Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the clinic, including scheduling, inventory management, purchasing, and workflow optimization. Implement and maintain best practices to enhance the clinic's efficiency and productivity. - Client Relations:
Uphold high standards of customer service. - Compliance and Regulations:
Ensure the clinic is compliant with all relevant veterinary regulations, standards, and protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Veterinary Science, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably within a veterinary practice.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
- Proficient in computer software, including practice management systems.
- Experience using Evet Practice software.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A passion for animals and a commitment to providing top‑notch care.
