Our client is seeking a seasoned veterinarian to serve as Medical Director, combining hands‑on small animal clinical practice with medical leadership responsibilities. This role offers the opportunity to guide medical standards, mentor veterinarians, and shape clinic culture while remaining actively involved in patient care.

The Medical Director works collaboratively with clinic operations leadership to ensure exceptional medical quality, efficient workflows, and a positive team environment. This position is ideal for a veterinarian who values coaching, communication, and building a high‑performing, compassionate team.

In addition to leadership duties, the Medical Director practices as an Associate Veterinarian, reinforcing best practices and supporting excellent patient and client outcomes.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent) with active or eligible New York licensure
• 3–5+ years of small animal clinical experience preferred
• Prior leadership or mentorship experience strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team‑development skills

• Senior‑level compensation aligned with clinical and leadership scope
• Salary range: $170,000 – $200,000+, depending on experience
