Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist Status: Full-time, 32–40 hours per week Salary: From $16 / hour Schedule: Flexible four-day workweek; no nights, weekends, on-call shifts, or holiday hours

This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to contribute both at the front desk and alongside the medical team. One moment, you may be helping a client schedule an appointment or process a payment. The next, you may assist a veterinarian, support patient care, or help with pharmacy responsibilities.

What You'll Do
  • Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to client questions
  • Schedule appointments and help manage the hospital calendar
  • Check clients and patients in and out
  • Process payments and maintain accurate financial information
  • Update client and patient records
  • Communicate hospital policies, services, and appointment information clearly
