• Gently handle and restrain pets — think firm but loving, like convincing a corgi to leave the dog run when they’re clearly not ready.
• Assist our doctors and techs during exams, treatments, and diagnostics.
• Gather thorough patient histories without being sidetracked by puppy wiggles or the world’s slowest tail wag.
• Keep treatment areas and exam rooms tidy and stocked — because nobody wants to run out of gauze mid-surgery.
• Learn and adapt on the fly, because in veterinary medicine, and in Brooklyn, no two days are ever the same.

• 2+ yrs of veterinary experience
• A calm, flexible demeanor — because pets don’t care about your carefully crafted schedule.
• Solid communication skills with humans and with skeptical cats who think we’re plotting against them.
• Able to lift and restrain pets up to 40 lbs, and stay on your feet for most of your shift.
• The kind of teammate who sees what needs to be done and just does it.

• $26-$30/hr based on experience
