Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced, engaging, and visionary credentialed technician to serve as a strategic partner to the practice owner, COO, and hospital manager while leading the daily technical operations of our growing hospital. • Provide strategic leadership for the day-to-day technical operations of the hospital.
• Partner with the practice owner, COO, and hospital manager to establish priorities, drive growth, and achieve operational excellence.
• Onboard, coach, mentor, and retain an exceptional veterinary team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Develop efficient systems to enhance patient care, client service, and team productivity.
• Lead performance management, employee development, and ongoing training initiatives.
• Ensure an outstanding client experience while maintaining high standards of patient care.

• Active and in good standing NYS Veterinary Technician license
• Minimum of 3 years of team lead management experience required.
• Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing veterinary technical teams.
• Strong experience in anesthetic procedures (surgery, dentistry, etc.)
• Interest and experience working with exotic patients (avian, companion mammals, and reptiles)
• Experience improving operational efficiency and team performance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Experience with Vetspire practice management software preferred but not required.
• Interest and experience in holistic medicine and rehabilitation cases (water treadmill) is preferred, but not required.
