Since 2007, Molex Vietnam has operated its first factory in Thang Long I IP. We are now expanding with a new high‑tech facility in Thang Long II IP, Hung Yen, backed by a $145 million investment and spanning 100 000 m². This site will manufacture advanced products including high‑speed connectors, cables and optical devices.

Position Overview

To support the Supervisor in leading, coordinating, and guiding Quality System Managers and the Administrator to achieve quality, productivity, and continuous improvement targets, while ensuring the Quality Management System is effectively implemented and compliant with ISO, IATF standards and customer‑specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Support the effective implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and internal procedures.

Ensure customer‑specific requirements (CSR) are identified, communicated, deployed and complied with in daily operations.

Handle customer requirements (self‑assessment), PPAP and customer audit. Be responsible as backup local coordinator for ECN and PCN.

Participate in the development, review, control and deployment of quality system documentation (procedures, work instructions, forms).

Support and coordinate internal audits, customer audits, and third‑party certification audits.

Establish and develop the digital platform to support the operation department and others.

Monitor and support achievement of quality, productivity, output and improvement targets.

Analyze quality performance indicators and explain risks or gaps to the Supervisor and management where necessary.

Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives related to process quality, system effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Promote structured problem‑solving methodologies (e. g. 8D, RCA, FMEA, PDCA).

Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and improve quality system processes.

Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental (RoHS, SVHC…).

Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Qualifications

University degree.

Experience

At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing companies in the same position.

Skills & Competencies

Proficient in AI tools and digital platforms such as Power BI. (Must)

Experience and knowledge in a broad range of quality best practices and quality industry codes and standards (7 Principles of Quality Management, 7 QC tools…).

Good understanding and working knowledge of tools such as statistical methods, sampling, SPC, FMEA and MSA.

Good understanding of quality standards and implementation (ISO, IATF, CSR, VDA 6.3).

On‑the‑job training, coaching skills, and basic management & Kaizen.

Preference for those with advanced working knowledge of industrial systems, operational controls, monitoring systems, and/or third‑party audit experience.

Good knowledge of problem‑solving (5 Whys analysis…).

Honest, open‑minded, candid, high personal integrity.

Good English communication skills.
