Location: Pearl River
Permanent position for Quality Technician / Quality Inspector for an electronics instrument manufacturer.
Responsibilities- Perform SMT/PCB (surface mount technology / printed circuit board) inspection procedures to verify conformance to specifications.
- Follow inspection procedures for both electrical and mechanical evaluations.
- Execute in-house PCBA changes, rework, and soldering modifications as required.
- Conduct incoming mechanical inspections using precision measurement tools.
- Document all inspection data.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Experience in QA inspection of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA).
- Experience with mechanical inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc).
- Experience with microscope inspection and SMT soldering required.
- IPC J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 certification a plus.
