Job Description **:*
* The Sputter Target Bond Operator is responsible for the assembly and bonding of sputter targets to backing plates in preparation for physical vapor deposition.  You will play a critical part in ensuring product quality, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with technical specifications through precise bonding, surface preparations, and inspection activities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to **:*
* + Drive positive consumer experience through technical support via phone & email.

+ Assemble and bond sputter targets to backing plates using approved bonding processes and procedures.

+ Perform shot blasting, grit, polishing, and surface preparation operations to ensure proper bonding conditions.

+ Apply and verify base layers prior to spray or bonding processes as required.

+ Measure bonded targets using precision measuring tools and verify compliance to technical drawings and specifications.

+ Identify nonconforming conditions, escalate issues promptly, and support corrective actions.

+ Follow all safety, quality, work instruction, and housekeeping requirements.

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:

+ Technical degree, vocational training in mechanics, electromechanics, manufacturing, or at least 2 years of related experience

+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and specifications

+ Experience using precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

+ Basic computer skills for data entry and MES documentation

+ Ability to stand for extended periods

+ Ability to lift and handle materials up to [weight limit, e.g., 50 lbs with or without accommodation

** Pay Details:**  $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
