The Business Systems Quality Manager supports the company’s quality and business systems by driving process maturity, compliance, and improvement initiatives. You will work onsite in Buffalo, NY and be responsible for APQP and business system maturity assessments, training, document control, and cross‑functional leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality or business systems management, or process development.
• Strong understanding of quality and business management systems, including integration and interaction across an organization.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and drive effective solutions.
• Proven ability to build relationships, collaborate across functions, and communicate clearly in writing.
• Self‑starter with the ability to work independently, manage workload, and meet deadlines.
• Highly organized, balancing day‑to‑day responsibilities with long‑term projects.
• 5‑10% travel required.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.

• APQP‑PPAP knowledge (e.g., AS9145, IATF 16949, AESQ‑RM13145).
• Experience with risk evaluation tools such as Process Flow Diagrams, DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM, MSA, and Control Plans.
• Training development and delivery experience across levels.
• Customer requirements flow‑down and metrics familiarity.
• Microsoft SharePoint experience for building and maintaining collaboration environments.

• Serve as APQP process SME, trainer, administrator, and integrator; maintain and influence APQP processes.
• Plan and execute APQP maturity assessments; identify gaps and recommend improvement actions.
• Conduct business systems maturity assessments for key division processes, monitor performance, and report findings.
• Lead and execute process improvement projects; develop plans and track results.
• Monitor and manage SDG document control process health at a tactical level.
• Support sustainment of enterprise customer quality requirements and process adherence.
• Develop and deliver process training and materials; support change adoption.
• Lead or participate in cross‑functional teams and coordinate implementation where requirements are ambiguous.
