The ProjectMace, as part of MPA delivery partner joint venture of Mace-Parsons-Arcadis, have been selected as the Gateway Development Commissions partners of choice to support the GDC across the Gateway Program in New York, inclusive of the Hudson Tunnel Project. The busiest rail connection between New York, New Jersey, and the Northeast Corridor, the Hudson Tunnel Project will improve capacity, reliability, and resiliency of commuter and intercity rail transit serving 800,000 daily passengers from Washington, D.C. to New York and New England.
A milestone project supported by the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the project is slated to receive nearly $12 billion in federal funding, the largest investment in a mass transit project in modern history.

- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management plan for the tunnel project, including quality control procedures, inspection protocols, and documentation requirements.
- Define quality standards and performance metrics to measure and monitor the quality of construction activities, materials, and installations.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality assessments to identify non-conformances, defects, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, subcontractors, and quality control personnel to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and project specifications related to tunnel construction.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to project teams on quality assurance best practices and quality management processes.
- Prepare quality reports, documentation, and performance indicators to track quality metrics and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 7-10 years’ proven experience in quality management on large infrastructure projects, preferably tunnel construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, construction standards, and quality assurance processes.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations governing tunnel construction and underground works.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Quality management systems, ISO standards and documentation tools.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., CQM, CQE) is a plus.
Note:
The estimated starting salary for this position is $140k. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
