POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Global Quality will champion the Quality team to improve both internal and external quality, drive the culture of quality, and ensure that Qualitrol meets or exceeds customer expectations. The role will be customer facing, work closely with product development, and design and achieve quality goals for all Qualitrol products. The position is located in Fairport, NY
.
- Define, develop and deploy long‑term strategies to achieve world‑class systems and best in quality products and services for all Qualitrol products worldwide.
- Develop quality metrics and dashboards, champion changes in quality metrics, introduce future metrics and dashboards, and create operational definitions for accurate and consistent reporting across Qualitrol sites.
- Drive systemic improvements across Quality KPIs through standardization and real‑time problem‑solving techniques, utilizing FBS tools for best practice implementation.
- Ensure consistency and world‑class Quality System across Qualitrol.
- Manage the ISO certification process and develop, revise and update Quality Policy, Manual, Documentation Structure and Quality Systems to ensure compliance with ISO
9001:2015 and other quality certificates. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across all sites, sales and field service globally, using data to create action plans for addressing customer issues.
- Lead efforts to improve supplier quality by collaborating with cross‑functional teams including Procurement, R&D and Engineering.
- Collaborate with the new product development and release product teams to ensure proper validation, testing and successful launch of new and modified products.
- Bachelor’s degree with an engineering focus;
Master’s degree preferred. - 5+ years of manufacturing experience focused on quality.
- ISO experience.
- Proven track record of customer‑focused excellence.
- Proven ability to deliver results and achieve metrics in accordance with FBS standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Proactive, customer focus.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Eligibility for equity as part of the total compensation package.
