- Travel (approximately 0%) domestic and/or international.
- Divide and prioritizes departmental duties between metrology technicians.
- Calibrate and maintain assigned laboratory equipment.
- Schedule and implement any required external calibration with an approved vendor.
- Acts as an escort for approved vendor performing maintenance and/or calibration.
- Maintain the calibration schedule and equipment lists.
- Monitor, calibrate and maintain assigned equipment (e.g., freezers, refrigerators, pipettes, balances, water system, thermometers, weights, ovens, temperature and humidity monitors, REES Environmental System).
- Review calibration notebooks per associated SOPs/procedures.
- Author and review metrology‑related SOPs for accuracy and completeness.
- Train metrology staff and other staff on all metrology‑related SOPs/procedures.
- Coordinate and communicate with management to address quality control questions or discrepancies.
- Maintain documentation of Operator certification, if required.
- Participate in client or regulatory audits with the Quality Assurance department.
- Act as on‑call for REES Environmental system.
- Manage the “on‑call” schedule to ensure coverage in the event of a call out after business hours.
- All other duties as assigned.

Salary range: $75,480.00‑$94,350.00
Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, education/training, and skill level. You may be eligible for a bonus, stock compensation and commissions in some cases depending on your role and performance.
