Brief Description
This position will specialize in all aspects of Fresh Cut GMP procedures and administrative functions for and within the QA/QC/HACCP department as it pertains to the Fresh cut production floor. Adhering to all SQF programs and policies.
Essential Job Functions- Must be able to type. Have knowledge of the keyboard.
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Must be able to bend/kneel/crawl
- Must be able to work in a cold environment.
- Must be presentable at all times
- Ability communicate clearly
- Must be organized
Monday to Friday (start time to be determined)
Required
Extra day as required (Sundays)
Duties
- To adhere to & enforce all QA/QC/HACCP/GMP & SQF standards set forth by Baldor in the Fresh Cut Department
- Position will have the authority to stop any process in Fresh Cuts that does not meet the Food safety standards, CCP’s and CP’s standards set out in the Baldor QA/QC/HACCP/GMP Programs
- Monitor all QA/QC/HACCP/GMP Functions throughout the Fresh Cut Facility for compliance
- Check PH levels in water baths or flumes
- Check water & product temperatures
- Observe Fresh Cuts workers
- Give feedback on all issues to Supervisor and/or Coordinator of QA/QC/HACCP
- Alert Supervisor and/or Coordinator of QA/QC/HACCP of any food safety and/or food security issues
- Check and inspect cleaning of equipment and release to production
- To verify all paperwork in Fresh Cut Department before it goes to be validated by the QA/QC/HACCP Supervisor and/or Senior Administrator

- To re-train Fresh cut staff as needed due to non-compliance of QA/QC/HACCP/GMP rules (general and specifics)
- Any other responsibilities to be fulfilled as assigned by the company
- Position requires basic comprehension and language skills - Bi Lingual is a must
- Must read and write legible
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook is necessary
