** Quality Control Laboratory Supervisor (Bulk, Raw Materials & Stability)*
* ** Position Summary*
* The Quality Control Laboratory Supervisor oversees QC laboratory operations for raw materials, bulk products, and stability testing. This role ensures compliance with quality standards, cGMP, FDA, and ISO requirements while leading laboratory staff, supporting continuous improvement, and partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
** Key Responsibilities*
* + Supervise QC laboratory personnel, including chemists, analysts, and technicians.
+ Manage daily testing activities for raw materials, bulk products, and stability samples to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely results.
+ Review and approve test results, Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and laboratory documentation.
+ Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, ISO, and internal quality system requirements.
+ Lead investigations for OOS, OOT, deviations, and nonconformances; implement CAPA and root cause analysis.
+ Oversee analytical method validation, stability programs, and laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance.
+ Develop and maintain laboratory procedures, specifications, and work instructions.
+ Monitor laboratory performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits and inspections.
+ Collaborate with QA, R&D, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain on quality-related matters.
+ Assist with laboratory budgeting, staffing, resource planning, and procurement.
** Qualifications*
* ** Education*
* + Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Microbiology, or related scientific field required.
+ Master's degree preferred.
** Experience*
* + 5+ years of Quality Control, analytical testing, or laboratory operations experience.
+ 3+ years of supervisory experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
+ Experience in cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, or chemical manufacturing preferred.
** Knowledge & Skills*
* + Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA, ISO, GDP, and laboratory quality systems.
+
Experience with OOS/OOT investigations, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
+ Proficiency with laboratory instrumentation, including pH meters, viscometers, and FTIR.
+ Familiarity with method validation, stability testing, and LIMS systems.
+ Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
** Preferred*
* + Experience supporting audits and regulatory inspections.
+ Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification or experience.
