Location: Pearl River

The Fountain Group is currently seeking an Analytical Chemist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Pearl River, NY 10965. Details of the position are as follows:

Job Details:

Pay: $42/hr to Start!!
6-month assignment, possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
Monday – Friday (first shift)
Position will also be responsible for performing routine analytical testing using electronic laboratory systems (LIMS), documenting results in electronic systems, and supporting the release and stability testing of highly regulated products.
Position will also be mainly responsible for supporting a GMP-regulated Quality Control laboratory environment focused on pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products.
Position will also be responsible for performing laboratory testing of raw materials, drug substances, drug products, in-process samples, and stability samples.
Position will also be responsible for conducting wet chemistry and analytical testing using laboratory instrumentation, including: HPLC, GC, UV-Visible Spectroscopy, CGE, ICE, Polarimeter, Osmometer, pH Meter, Conductivity Meter, and TOC Analyzer.
Position will also be supporting internal and external audits by maintaining thorough and compliant documentation.

Qualifications:

BS or MS Degree in Chemistry or related Life Science Degree is Required!
5+ years experience in a QC related role is Required!
GMP experience is Required!
Experience with analytical techniques background HPLC/ GC/ UV-VIS is Required!
Experience with supporting product release/ stability testing is Preferred!
Experience with EMPOWER (or Chromeleon, Chemstation, Openlab) chromatography data software for analyzing chromatography data is Preferred!
Experience in Pharma/ Biotech background is Preferred!
