Quality Assurance & Test Analyst

Responsible for overseeing all Quality Assurance (QA) and testing activities related to the OMS Upgrade Project. Collaborate with project and operational teams to ensure testing activities are effectively integrated into the project lifecycle.

More than 5 years of experience working with large and complex ADMS/OMS systems. Ideally, experience with GEV ADMS v3.11 or above. Experience planning, developing, and implementing: test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases. Hands-on experience creating and executing comprehensive test cases. Ability to coordinate effectively with development teams, business analysts, product owners, business owners. Strong understanding of application functionality and testing requirements.

Review requirements and design documents. Log questions and clarifications into the Clarification Tracker. Ensure all testing-related queries are resolved before testing begins. Determine in-scope testing items and out-of-scope testing items. Create comprehensive test scenarios, stories, test cases. Ensure test coverage addresses all functionalities and requirements. Prepare test data and verify its availability and accuracy. Develop and maintain a Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).

Ensure all requirements are properly validated. Support the Test Lead in developing the overall test plan.

Upload test cases into the designated test management tool. Execute all test cases thoroughly to verify application functionality. Perform regression testing to ensure fixes do not introduce new defects. Retest defects after resolution. Re-execute affected test cases once defects are fixed. Document test results with screenshots, date and timestamp, relevant testing details. Ensure all Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is properly masked.

Identify and report defects discovered during testing. Document defects with detailed description, steps to reproduce, test data, screenshots, relevant supporting information. Track defects through resolution. Perform defect retesting and validation.

Track application downtime in the Downtime Tracker. Report testing-related risks to the Test Lead and Project Manager. Clearly communicate the potential impact of risks on testing activities, project timelines, overall project delivery. Create dashboards within the test management tool to monitor test execution status, defect status, testing progress.

Strong multi-tasking and organizational abilities. Excellent written communication skills. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Strong collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
