Quality Technician

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Poestenkill, NY

Pay Range: $15-25/hr

Shift: 2nd shift 1pm-9:30pm M-F

What's the Job?

• Support activities related to the implementation, maintenance, control, and monitoring of quality systems and standards.
• Perform inspections, data evaluation, sampling, and disposition of in-process, finished product, and raw materials.
• Assist in communication of product quality standards and support production operators in achieving those standards.
• Support calibration, complaint handling, CAPA/Event, and nonconforming material control/handling processes.
• Coordinate with vendors and work directly with the Quality Manager to set up and conduct interviews for potential candidates.

What's Needed?

• Experience in QC or manufacturing is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work evening shifts and adapt to a training period on first shift.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and support quality processes and standards.
