As the Quality Assurance Director, you will play a key leadership role in driving quality excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a team of Quality Engineers and Quality Technicians.
• Establish and execute the organization's quality strategy in alignment with business and regulatory objectives.
• Oversee the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Manage internal, external, and certification audits, serving as the primary quality representative during audit activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve quality, efficiency, and operational performance.
• Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes, root cause analysis, and quality performance metrics.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Develop and oversee supplier quality programs and performance.
• Analyze quality data and recommend process, equipment, and product improvements.
• Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers regarding quality requirements, corrective actions, first article inspections, and performance trends.
• Represent the Quality function during leadership reviews and strategic business initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred). Equivalent manufacturing leadership experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 5–10 years of progressive quality leadership experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with printed circuit board assembly (PCBA), surface mount technology (SMT), and electro‑mechanical manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, quality systems, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience leading internal and external audits.
• Lean Six Sigma experience (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
• Demonstrated success leading teams, developing talent, and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
• Expertise in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality planning.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional leadership skills.
• ERP experience (Epicor preferred).
